... Keep my lawn mowed. Sometimes it just gets ahead of me and then it's so long and the bag has to be emptied more often. But if springs comes this year, I'll promise to gratefully and gladly empty those law clippings.
... Be more cognizant of sun exposure. We may live up north (in Montana), but the sun can be intense in the summer. Baseball caps are great but I could better protect my face if I wore a straw hat - especially when I'm out there playing with the law clippings.
... Wash the windows, inside and out. Granted it's been a while and I know how nice it is to look out on our beautiful view through clean windows, but, well, life gets going and the windows just aren't on the list. But if spring comes, I'll re-prioritize my list.
... Spend the hottest part of the days (assuming we have some hot days) in the studio finishing projects, quilting and doing all the fun, creative things that we quilters get to do. Hmmm, that means the hotter the day, the longer I get to play in the studio. I can definitely prioritize this one!
So while I await the much anticipated and hard won springtime, I'll keep going out daily and shoveling snow away from the barn because we're starting to get water inside. And I'll keep wearing those dang Sorel Boots with Yak Trax because that's the only safe way to negotiate our place right now.
